Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?Very
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really like the collar and collar stand on this shirt. I dislike the lack of a sleeve placket; I will definitely add one for the next shirt.
Fabric Used:
Combed cotton Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I flat-felled every seam by hand.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, definitely. I need to take more care in matching up the plaids at the front the next time, and I will definitely add a sleeve placket.
Peter in NYC said... Nice job! I'm curious to know why you flat-felled by hand -- or do you mean you trimmed the seam by hand and then stitched it with your machine? 2/17/13 1:11 PM

I like to think that I proved Mr. Coffin wrong when he stated that they won't look good if you don't have the foot (especially since this was my first time flat-felling anything beyond the side seam)! :) 2/20/13 6:49 PM
