Pattern Description:
3/4 raglan sleeve t-shirt with gathered raglan sleeves. Neckline is finished with a facing and the neckline edge is left raw.

Pattern Sizing:
128-170. I made a size 128 for width and 134 for height.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, except I changed the sleeve length.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The magazine photo shows this as an adorable blue and white striped sailor top with 3/4 sleeves. I'd like to make that version someday.

I like the details, which is what I'm normally saying about Ottobre garments. The tucks or gathers on the raglan seams are interesting.

What's very interesting is how the neckline is finished. I almost opted to just do it my normal way, but then decided I might as well try it their way once! Essentially a facing piece is cut and stitched to the inside: one row of stitching on the concave edge to hold the facing down, and coverstitching close to the neck edge. So the neck edge is left raw. It's a knit, so this looks rustic but isn't any worse for the wear after being washed and worn.

Fabric Used:
A super lightweight border print jersey knit from Girl Charlee. I bought this for myself, but my daughter chose it when I told her to go to my stash and pick out fabric for a new shirt! Ah well, I didn't like how thin it was anyway.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
None, except shortening the sleeves.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes.

Conclusion:
Great shirt!
