Pattern Description: Misses shawl cardigan and vest
Pattern Sizing: XS-S-M-L-XL
I made a medium.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, I used View B.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
This was my first time sewing with a Kwik Sew pattern, in addition to knit, and a novelty one at that.
The directions were very concise and are really good for beginners.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Goes together quickly.
Fabric Used: Novelty knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I shortened the length as it was ginormous in my muslin. Now that I have made the whole thing, I will go down to a small for my next run with this. Still, big comfy cardi is not a bad thing. I also omitted the pockets.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I absolutely will be remaking this, for myself (I have 3 more fabrics to use!) and several other people are requesting one.
Conclusion:
This is a great pattern, wardrobe basic, easy to make and comfortable. The knit I used makes it quite warm, perfect for a chilly office or run to the store. No pictures of this one as my camera was being wonky.
