Pattern Description:
Oversized blouse with pleat and collar variations. I don't wear blouses, but I really liked the design lines so I decided to do this in a knit.
I gave this a 'with modifications' recommendations, because I do recommend this pattern to anyone who also wants to do the changes I did :-D Pattern Sizing:
I sewed 46. I'm US 14, UK 14/16, DE 44/46 Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, considering my changes What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the curved shaping. If you leave off the collar and cuffs, it lends itself nicely for a tshirt shape.
Fabric Used:
Pre-ruffled stretch knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
- I left off collar and cuffs.
- Since I was doing it in a knit, I used the back portion as both front and back. I cut the neck hole deeper on the front.
- I drafted out the center back pleat and added the width to the sides (3") to ensure it's nice and blousey and not cling to my hips.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I really love the way this turned out. I wanted to do a lagenlook type of short and this really fit the bill. The design was simple enough for the fabric, but with enough shape to make it interesting. Stats
Cost: 12 Euro.
Cut & Sew Time: Two Star Wars Movies Conclusion:
I'm loving my new super-comfortable lagenlook shirt. Re-evaluate some of your old oversized blouse patterns, they may also look good with a project like this!

Wow--that's an amazing transformation. I would wear that, and I never would have seen it in the shirt!
