Pattern Sizing: This pattern features 2 V-neck designs for the fitted bodice, in cup sizes A/B, C & D...I made size Large C-Cup...these were made when I was larger (lost 35lbs)...so I'll "gift" them!
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? The photo on the pattern envelope is just a line drawing...looks so much nicer when they are made with trim/lace added.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Jan Bones writes wonderful instructions. I have almost all her patterns and a few of her DVD's as well.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? No dislikes at all. I love that I can make a nice light weight cotton nightie or camisole for warmer weather.
Fabric Used: Woven Cotton...cut on the bias!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: No pattern changes...I did add lace and trim on the yellow nightie, and did a rolled hem for the white & purple print nightie.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I do recommend this pattern as well as the DVD...I will be making these in a smaller size for sure.
Conclusion: I love the patterns from Lingerie Secrets...they are printed on sturdy white paper...multi-sized and the instructions are easy to follow...I have talked to Jan Bones when I placed my order over the phone...she is wonderful to talk to...I'd LOVE to take a few of her classes one day...I keep hoping she will teach a class here on patternreview...or maybe Craftsy.com
This is so pretty--love the fabric & the trim you chose. How nice that you got to talk to the designer!
