Pattern Description: Pullover, close-fitting, lined dress has draped sides and narrow hem.
Pattern Sizing: 6-22 I basically graded from a 10 to 14 in various places.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, as much as it could with the changes I made to it.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they were pretty straightforward and uncomplicated.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the style - the gathers are really figure flattering, I think. And I got a pretty great fit with little fuss. I also like that it has a pretty high/tight armscye/sleeve. I think in a knit it fits better this way, looks less sloppy and allows for range of motion.
Fabric Used: A mystery blend metallic sweater knit that I got for $2 at the National City Swap Meet in San Diego. I did a pretty detailed post about sewing this sweater knit on my blog (Click Here ).
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I omitted the lining since my intention was to wear this as a tunic over leggings and a cami, rather than as a dress. I also shortened it to tunic length and shortened the sleeves to 3/4 length.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes and yes! I probably will sew it again. It would be great as drafted (as a dress) or even shorter as a tee.
Conclusion: A great pattern that I will probably sew again soon.
