The instructions were easy to follow until I got to the waistband. I wound up eliminating it altogether and simply finishing the edges around the top.
I used a stretch twill for these trousers, which helped with the fit.
I changed the placement of the zipper. I prefer a side zip to a back zip, but it made no difference in the fit. I also made the darts somewhat larger than instructed because my hips are significantly larger than my waist.
I would sew it again - next time, I'm using a dark wash, stretch denim.
