The most difficult part of the instructions BY FAR is the bodice. Re-re-re-read that section before attempting it. Maybe it's just me, but I had a hard time figuring out how to manipulate the pieces correctly.
I love this pattern for the tie at the shoulder and the pockets.
I eliminated the slit and widened the bottom of the dress instead. That was personal preference, though - there was nothing wrong with the look of the slit or the instructions for sewing it.
I plan to make this dress again. When I do, I'll use a fabric that doesn't fray as easily and make it longer so that I can wear it with platform heels.
