Pattern Sizing:
I'd say this pattern runs a little big. I made a size 2 and it was quite big on me when normally size 2 is what I wear.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
More or less. Most of the pictures on the Colette website are of the blouse with the longer sleeve variation and I made the short sleeve variation so it looks like a different shirt in my opinion. I like how mine turned out though and prefer the short-sleeve look anyways so I'm glad it didn't come out looking the exact same.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes!! The instructions were definitely a highlight of this pattern. Super easy to follow and also had a few new tips and tricks that I had never thought of doing before that really helped me. I will forever remember the trick to sew a seam before you want to press a part of your garment. It makes make the line so much straighter!

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Like: The back yoke, the button-down front (especially with fabric covered buttons!), the peter pan collar.
Dislike: The fit. It was awkward and boxy and didn't fit really well. It's a bit too big around but then it's quite short so I feel like it's just awkward in general.

Fabric Used:
I cannot remember what kind of fabric this is and it is driving me crazy! All I know is that I got it at Joann's and I have used it for like 4 different projects to date so I know they always have it. I think it might be a type of polyester silk but I could be completely wrong. I definitely recommend it though.
Then the sequin collar fabric is from Spandex house.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I added length, about 2 1/2 inches at first but I ended cutting off about 2 inches of those, just because the shirt was so big and adding length just made it look even bigger. I would have LIKED that extra length, but it just didn't look flattering with the boxy fit.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would make another button-down, sequin collar blouse no doubt but would I use this pattern again? Probably not. The fit really bothers me and the front of the shirt doesn't flow too well.
