Pattern Description:
Girls dress pattern from New Look Project Runway Pattern Sizing:
Comes in children's sizes 3-8. I cut mine in a size 3 according to my two yr olds measurements. Fits her perfectly Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
I think they were pretty easy. This was my first commercial pattern. I did have to look up some terms but that is due to my own inexperience. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love the neckline and hemline. I wish it called for an invisible zipper. I went ahead and installed an invisible zip but this was my first time installing any kind of zipper. It worked out. Fabric Used:
Seersucker for the main and white cotton for the contrasting. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The only thing I did differently was use an invisible zip. I don't think this was too drastic of a deviation from the instructions, though. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I will be making this dress again and I do recommend it to others
