Pattern Description:
Old faithful straight skirt pattern with facing instead of a waistband Pattern Sizing:
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
yes Were the instructions easy to follow?
Didnt use them What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Workhorse pattern Fabric Used:
a navy and white 6 mm wide alternating stripe pattern fabric with a slight stretch - from you guessed it... The Tessuti sale table Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I pegged the hem slightly ( maybe 10 mm each side .. Meaning I made the seam 10 mm NARROWER than the pattern requires just near the hem resulting in the bottom of the skirt being slightly narrower than further up the skirt ) Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
yes yes and yes Conclusion:
no photo available at this stage ( to all those people who keep asking for them!) but wearing it today with a smart white top, orange resin necklace and orange watch - very 'on trend' as my uber stylish husband would say - wore it with orange patent leather bag for church this morning.

Sounds great. I would love to see a pic. What does pegging a hem mean? Could you please expand the review slightly to explain?
