Pattern Description:Misses Dress and Belt: Pullover dress has fitted mock wrap bodice, shoulder ties, elasticized shoulders and raised (seamed) waist, fitted narrow hem, thread carriers and self belt.

Pattern Sizing: 16-24, I made a size 20, but net time, I'll probably made a size 16. I plan to use this as a cover-up at the pool, so it works as flow-y as it is.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy to follow the directions for this dress and some helpful hints throughout.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the simplicity of the design. I don't like the belt, it is way too long, wrapped twice around my waist it still goes down past my knees!
The bodice is a little too loose, it could be my sizing is off, but I have a feeling this pattern runs large.
Fabric Used: I believe it is a cotton knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Of course, I had to shorten it, I shorten the bodice too, but it would need to be shortened even more for my liking.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will most certainly sew it up again.
Conclusion: Easy, sewed up pretty quickly and it looks pretty! |
