Pattern Description: Shirt with hood and zipper
Pattern Sizing: XS - XL, I made the L
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Kwik-Sew easy
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Easy to put together, fits great if you know how Kwik-Sew patterns are drafted.
Fabric Used: T-shirt knit fun print from Joann's
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I took in the underarm area a bit before sewing the side/arm seam. It was a little blousier than I like. I wish I had made it an inch or 2 longer, but I made the decision after cutting it out...doh!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This book is a great find, since it has an entire wardrobe of garments with instructions to personalize everything. The book is pricey, but when you consider all the patterns and variations, it's a bargain.
Conclusion: If you can still find this, I'd recommend it highly. Basic garments, easy to put together. You will have to trace the patterns from the sheets that are included, but they are easy to see, and you can make any adjustments as you go.

thanks, craze -- I walk the dog every day, and love to wear something like this. The Kwik Sew hood is nice and roomy, didn't need a string in it though. I added a pocket for my phone/keys/hanky, but two pocket patterns are included in the book. All the garment pieces are basic, no-frill pieces. I wanted hoodies in kookie prints to brighten up our walks.

Dog walking is a main wardrobe requirement here. I found this book online and bought it-this thing has a full wardrobe included. I somehow never noticed this one before so thanks.
