Its sized 8 to 16
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, I just made it a bit more fitted.

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes, I had to follow every step. I read the complete instructions and I think it worked well for me.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the fact its a simple pattern. I couldn't imagine pants with more pattern pieces. Simple to whom? Its not the pattern that is hard its learning to fit pants to your own shape.
Fabric Used:
Fabric is polyester suiting from Joann Fabric. I got it on sale. Its a bit harder to work with then 100 percent cotton quilting. I didn't like it at first but I got use to it while working with it. I read on line to start with new needle in the machine to prevent snags in the fabric. I had some older pins that would just not go through the fabric. I could imagine a major problem if the machine needle was in bad shape.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made them longer. I am trying to learn to fit pants to myself. This time I used a size 12 for the front and a size 14 for the back. I have a sway back and shortened the front about an inch. I cut the pockets full size actually not remembering I shortened the front, but it worked well. I tried them on and could pin the curve from front to back to adjust for the sway back. (not really sure if I have sway back, but I have a fuller back end and when I make the sway back adjustment seems to work). I think the waist probably cuts back to a 12 with the pleat in the back I just make it a little bigger.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I am going to sew a blue pair this time. I think the view without the pleat again.
Conclusion:
This is a nice pattern for me. It has to be tweaked but I think all pants patterns do. If you have patience and can take in a seam, rip it out, and try something else, I think anyone can fit pants to themselves.
