Although I started with the New Look pattern, I altered it so much that this is practically a new pattern. I turned a shirt into a shirt dress and made it much more fitted than the original.
I have made this pattern before as a shirt. It is a pretty good pattern. My one complaint is that the back yoke is not faced. On my first, shirt, version I added a facing and, using view D, added a traditional collar. On this dress version, I also added a yoke facing. I used the notched collar from view B and then had a very hard time figuring out how to attach this to the yoke facing.
