Pattern Description:
Full pleated skirt dress with fitted boat neck bodice.
Pattern Sizing:
Fits true to size, very little give in the waist.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, my skirt was slightly more structured due to fabric choice.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very simple to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Did not like the collar option that was included.
Fabric Used:
Navy and gold brocade.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I shortened the bodice and created a lower v-back instead of a high back.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Absolutely, I have already made a second version in cotton.
Conclusion:
This is a super flattering dress that could work well with many different body types, it was easy to adjust the fit for my petite body type. Great pattern!
