Pattern Description:
Semi-fitted sheath dress.
Pattern Sizing:
6 till 22
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Sort of. I modified the pattern for my fabric. You can see on my bog - www.prettypurplepins.com
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were very simple and easy follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Like - Simple sheath dress with easy to follow instructions. Looks very classy.
Fabric Used:
Silk jacquard knit.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Eliminated the center back zipper as the fabric was knit. Removed the darts in front and back. Kept the bust darts. Made it more fitted.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes absolutely.
Conclusion:
It is a very versatile pattern with many combinations that can be made. I have made it in knit and cotton fabric. Will be making it soon mixing prints.
