Pattern Description: A pattern of coordinates - a jacket, a peplum top, a dress and a pair of pants
Pattern Sizing: 8 - 16
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I made the jacket. Yes it did look like the envelope except I didn't add any trim. You can view more photos on my blog http://jennysews2.blogspot.com
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy to follow for the jacket.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I really liked it the only thing I would change, however, is to cut the back bodice on the fold.
Fabric Used: Cotton Eyelet
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Update - I forgot to mention I did alter the sleeve cap. It was creating a bulge over my shoulder so I removed about an inch of it. Another change I would make - cut the back piece on the fold. The instructions have a center back seam but there's really no need. I wish I had realized that before I cut my eyelet fabric. I also went up a size in the sleeves for more room.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would sew again and again (I want jackets in different colors). Yes, I highly recommend it to others.
Conclusion:
I LOVE my jacket - I am ordering more fabric to make more in different colors.
Love that fabric! Very nice!
