Pattern Description: Misses' Dress pattern with several variations. I made view A, which has long gathered sleeves and a gathered bust. On view A there is elastic around the neckline, waist, and wrists.
Pattern Sizing:4-16. I made size 10.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, very much so.
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes, no problems.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?Even though it's not rated as "easy", this is one of the easiest patterns I have made. The only dislike is the way the pattern is constructed, it's difficult to judge the fit until the dress is finished. But it's not a big problem since the gathers are pretty forgiving.
Fabric Used:a very lightweight, cotton blend, in weight close to a voile or lawn, that was a thrift store purchase
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I lengthened the sleeves and the skirt because my daughter is tall
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?yes. It's very flattering on the right figure. There is also a cute maxi dress version included.
