I always get so excited when I pull out a pattern, cut it out, sew it up and it fits! that rarely ever happens and it happens even less with pants! pants patterns are probably the most difficult thing to make not because it is hard to put together because actually pants are relatively easy to construct but fitting them is an entirely different beast.
Needless to say that when I find a pants pattern that fits without any major adjustments it becomes a TNT (Tried and True) pattern for me and this pattern is just that!
Pattern Description: NL61689
Pattern Sizing: I cut the 10
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? This was a very easy pants pattern and the instructions were clear although I didn't need them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the pants and shorts and I wanted to make some cropped pants but finding a good pants pattern is well, kinda of pain. I just usually resort to drafting them myself so I was beyond excited when I made these up and had to make no fitting adjustments to the crotch or waistband.
Fabric Used: Wool Crepe
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:None, can you believe it!!
Would you sew it again? In every darn color!
Simplicity was kind enough to give me the pattern and gave me a few more to give away on the blog so feel free to check it out
