Pattern Description: The dress has a close fitting bodice with princess seams and raglan sleeves. The skirt is quite full.
Pattern Sizing: I made the size 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were very clear and easy to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? My favorite element of this patter was the raglan sleeves. They fit someone with broad shoulders very well, and the sleeves on the dress have a gentle split in the center which give them a petal shape. I was not a fan of how high the neckline sits.
Fabric Used: Cotton Lawn
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The only changes I made were to lower the neckline slightly and take out some of the fullness in the skirt.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and Yes! I already have fabric picked out for my second dress. I would definitely recommend this pattern to others.
Conclusion:
I am a huge fan of this pattern and cannot wait to make the dress again. The other garments in this pattern look good as well, particularly the jacket.

I am cutting this out now and came to read the reviews to see if there were any surprises in store :-) I'm making the dress but with the sleeves from the shirt B, eliminated the center front seam on the skirt and am adding pockets from a KwikSew pattern I just finished that I loved the pockets in... Isn't sewing wonderful? Your dress is terrific! I think I'll follow your lead and modify the neckline a bit! 3/10/13 3:07 PM
