Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy instructions
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
The blouse turned out slightly large on me. I am not quite sure yet if the boxy style flatters me. Usually I like more fitted tops. The skirt is super easy to make and I like the two paneled front and back. Nice touch to play with prints. My version doesn't take advantage of that. I made two more, where I got rid of the seam there to have a smooth front and back.
Fabric Used:
Blouse: Cotton Lawn from the Lisette Fabric Collection
Skirt: Cotton Twill from the Lisette Fabric Collection
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
First version of the skirt has the seam dividing the front and back Version 1
My two other versions don't have that seam Click Here
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would absolutely recommend it, and I am going to sew the skirt again.
Conclusion:
It is a very easy project for beginners with a rewarding result. Nice wardrobe builder too.
