Pattern Sizing:As with all StyleArc patterns, there is only 1 size per pattern. I used a 6 since my knit was pretty stretchy.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?StyleArc doesn't give away much on the instruction end, but there is nothing to this pattern. There might be some confusion upon joining the back neck to the dress but I think it is a "translation" problem. They say "miter" but I think they mean clip!!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I always like StyleArc patterns. I like the paper they print the patterns on, I find them to be well-marked for assembly, I like the fact that they send you a sample of recommended fabric
Fabric Used:A cotton jersey print that I got from EOS last year.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I really like the stand up collar in the back click here
but found it floppy. Perhaps it would behave better with a beefier knit. But I ended up adding some interfacing to the back neck edge up to the fold line and this solved the problem.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is similar to other Vogue Donna Karan patterns which I have made before -- though this is much easier! So I doubt I'll need another.
But I do recommend it. Conclusion: A simple to make, easy to wear dress!
Very pretty dress and I love your fabric!
