Pattern Description:
Misses dress with sleeves option used for design.
Pattern Sizing:
I cut an 18
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Exactly like the drawing and what I expected.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy to follow and simple to make
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Loved the options available with this pattern.
Fabric Used:
I used a lightweight cotton blend for the top and a cotton poly knit for the skirt bottom.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I changed the front of the skirt to add two flat topstitched seams on the skirt and I also added buttons to recreate the inspiration outfit.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
ABSOLUTELY! It's a great addition and I've gotten so many compliments wearing it!
Conclusion:
I was totally inspired by the outfit that Jennifer Hudson wore at the Super Bowl and now as a TRUE to LIFE RTW Faster I HAD to recreate it! SO this pattern truly did the job!
