The pattern comes in a range of 9 sizes (XS - XL), and Louise gives detailed instructions as to further refine the sizing to fit your particular
I'm been a fan of Louise Cutting patterns for some time and have loved her famous "one seams."
This is a new pattern just released. It is a more fitted pant, and this one has side seams. I couldn't wait to try it out. The pattern arrived in my mail box on Friday. Despite dealing with a nasty cold, on Saturday I did some stash diving and came up with some fabric to cut and fit a muslin. I traced a straight size small. Although my hip measurement was just slightly under the pattern noted measurement (not the finished measurement, but the measurement noted for the size small), I decided to ignore that and go with the small.
The sewing instructions are typical Louise and provide very thorough explanations and illustrations.
I did venture from the waistline casing instructions and used a more narrow elastic and sewed it directing to the waistline then turned it down and topstitched into place.
The hem sideseam vents are so easy and looks so "now."
For me, these pants are magic in their comfort and their fit. I think Louise has outdone herself with this magic pattern.
Can you tell I highly recommend this one?
