Pattern Description:
Misses' pullover long-sleeved top or dress and pull-on skirt.
Top or dress has V-neckline, wide bottom long sleeves, tie collar or front casing and drawstring.
I made dress B, with tie collar.
Pattern Sizing:
A (6-16)
I cut size 12 and graded out to 14 below the waist for a more A-line.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, except that I made mine shorter.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the tie collar and the long slightly flared sleeves.
Fabric Used:
Cotton Interlock.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I raised the V-neck by 1 3/4".
I sewed the dress 15" shorter in order to reach my knees.
I made a more A-line dress by grading up to 14 from the waist to the hem.
I removed the back slit and replaced it with two side slits.
Finally, I shortened the sleeves by 5/8".
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I think one of this style is enough, but I would recommend this pattern to others. It was simple to sew and fast to construct.
Conclusion:
Very comfortable dress, very nice and easy project.
I like your version. Love the fabric.
