Pattern Description:
The flattering empire bodice can be made with a plunging neckline that shows a bit of dcollet, or it can be made to be a bit more modest, depending on your comfort level. Use a single fabric for a classic, continuous look, or mix and max for bohemian patchwork fun.

Pattern Sizing:

Misses XS (0-2) to XL (16-18)
Womens 1X (16W-18W) to 3X (24W-26W)

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions are very easy to follow with detailed step-by-step pictures.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
There is really nothing that I dislike.

Fabric Used:
My first dress is made out of quilting cotton Click Here

The second version is made out of cheap chiffon from Walmart Click Here

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I used another technique to insert the high waist elastic. I stitched the side seams of the bodice and the skirt, then attached the bodice to the skirt with a 1/4 inch seam allowance. Then I stiched another row 3/8 inch next to it to create a channel for the elastic. I turned it inside out and stitched another line on top of the first 1/4 inch line to attach the channel to the bodice.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, I did already in chiffon. I will sew it again in a light cotton or maybe voile.

Conclusion:
Very easy dress for beginners.
