Pattern Description: f rom envelope: Figure-flattering three-quarter length coat with choice of standing collar or hood. (Oh, I just noticed it said "or"... I did both... and would have preferred "or")
Button-front, front and back princess seams and on-seam front pockets.

Pattern Sizing: AS is customary with Jalie all sizes from kids to plus size in one envelope

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes, except for the "or" part

Were the instructions easy to follow? yes, Jalie instructions are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. They keep it simple and specific.

Fabric Used: a ponte knit from Fabric Mart. This pattern calls for a stretch woven, but the Ponte is stable enough and worked well.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Because of limited fabric, I combined 2 pieces of the 3 piece sleeve. Other than that, no changes.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, this is a great coat/jacket pattern. I'm considering taking out the hood and just leaving the collar. I really don't need a hood and it's a bit bulky with both. and now that I see the instructions say "or"......

Conclusion: Great coat. Would be a great coat pattern for those that never made a coat and needed an easy starting off point. Click Here back view
