Pattern Description: Misses dresses in various views. I made view C.
Pattern Sizing: I used size 12 which is one smaller than my usual. I wanted it to be more fitted.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? More or less except mine is more fitted.
Were the instructions easy to follow? I didn't look at the instructions. The pattern pieces spoke for themselves.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like the easy, pullover style for a summer dress. I don't like how the neckline doesn't sit flat on my chest. I like the colour combo I chose and how the crinkle fabric fits on my body at 1 size smaller than my usual.
Fabric Used: A yellow cotton/poly broadcloth for the neckline and an orange crinkle cotton for the dress portion. Both remnants from my fabric stash.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Only the short waist adjustment.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? It looks like it had such promise! I think I'll try to do a proper muslin just for the neckline to see where it went wrong. If I can fix the neckline then I will definitely make this dress again. Sadly I don't have any of that orange crinkle cotton fabric left.
Conclusion: Easy to sew dress. Could have been a nice wearable muslin if I had tweak the neckline piece to sit flat on my chest.

Maybe you could just unpick the yellow from the orange, save the orange and resew the neck after you redraft it. It is a nice color combo!

Thanks for your comments! To atymonw: that's such a good idea! You are right. Perhaps I can salvage the orange part of the dress and make a new neckline.
