Pattern Description:
This funky yet functional knit dress has a fitted bodice, high neckline and a curved flared skirt.

Pattern Sizing: 18M -8Y

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow? They were fabulous! Amanda included a complete step-by-step photo tutorial. This would be a great pattern for a total sewing novice.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Likes: Simple, streamlined shape and comfortable fit. Flared skirt has the perfect amount of volume and is a great, versatile length. Super easy to make! No dislikes.

Fabric Used: I've made two versions. The first was made from an unstable corduroy like knit that my daughter chose from my stash. It rippled and stretched out of shape while sewing, so it definitely wasn't ideal. The second was made out of a cotton jersey from Girl Charlee and it was PERFECT. Comfortable to wear and easy to sew.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: For the first dress, I lengthened the skirt as Myra asked me to make it "princess-y". The second was sewn straight out of the packet.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I'll definitely sew this many times. It is a great, versatile dress that I think would work for girls of all style preferences. It is super easy to girly it up, but also works as a nice, simple dress for the tomboy who has to dress up. I definitely recommend it.

Conclusion: Seriously, why haven't you downloaded this pattern yet!?! It's a winner!!
