Pattern Description: Tunic top with yoke, front pleats and cap sleeves
Pattern Sizing: 36-44, I cut 36 at shoulders, and then graded to 38
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes, very alike
Were the instructions easy to follow? No. It's common in Burda instructions to be impossible to understand. I used my experience and common sense. I didn't know how to finish armscyes, so I copied it from one of my dresses sewn by seamstress
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I'm usually wear more fitted clothes, so I find this top a bit "oversize".
Fabric Used: Very delicate silk fabric
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:there was no need to insert zipper, I sewn button and thread loop instead. I sewn pleats in wrong direction by mistake, but I left them that way.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I don't think I need another top like this, but recommend it to others.
Conclusion: It was quick project because top is easy to sew. It doesn't look like homemade item and it gives me a sense of luxury. More details on my blog

I've been organizing my Burda Mags and I just noticed this one the other day. The dress version looks hopeful as a tunic for a hot summer day. Thanks for the review and very nice cool comfortable top.

Darling top. Good fabric/pattern combination. I think you were very right to forgo the zipper for a button and loop closure. Thanks for the review.
