Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Actually, it did- I look amazing in watercolor!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, I think so.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I realy don't see the need for the front or back seam in this- it isn't that fitted. The shape is classic and comfortable.
Fabric Used: A freebie grey pinstriped wool from Fabricmart
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did not put in the front seam, and didn't use a zipper, either. So next time I will eliminate the back center seams too- it's not that fitted, why all the seamage? This fabric was really not in my best color palette so I added some embellishemnts around the neck area to help me out a bit.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This would be lovely in a light linen for summer- it's shifty, but still shaped enough to wear as business wear.
Conclusion: It's not setting the world on fire, but it's practical (gasp!) and very comfortable.
