Pattern Description:
Romantic summer look with long, wide cut dresses in the style of the 70s. I sewed View A. Pattern Sizing:
10-22, I cut a 10 and altered it a bit to fit 8. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, it does. Were the instructions easy to follow?
This dress was so simple to make. You hardly needed the instructions. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I recently lost almost 100 pounds and I made this dress, thinking I still needed to hide behind a ton of fabric. Although I know I don't need to, I really love this dress. It is so "flowy" and girly. I have never been accused of being very girly, quite the opposite. I've been a total Tomboy, almost since birth! haha This dress actually makes me feel girly! I have the perfect pale pink, high heel Mary Janes that I can't wait to wear with it, when weather warms up! Fabric Used:
Lightweight cotton print. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I only made it smaller. Other than that, it is exactly as the pattern is. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, with sleeves. It'll be my "Hippie" dress! Also, I just purchased the same fabric in blue and I'm making another of View A. Conclusion:
I love this dress.
