Pattern Description: Fitted dresses with princess seams
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? yes
Fabric Used:Double Knit
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: did FBA shortened the length by my usual 11/2 inch
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes I have already made another.
Conclusion: Once I did my usual adjustments I was ready to rock with the fabric. I got this fabric off the bargain table for almost nothing, after I saw the other reviews with the piping, I decided to try it since I had everything I needed in my stash, even the piping. Blue was the only color I had that would match the black. I haven't done piping in a long time. I didn't think it would turn out so good. I made another that I am still working on.
I always add interfacing to the bay before inserting the invisible zipper to keep the fabric from bunching up. |
