Men's and Boy's Vests
Pattern Sizing:
Multi-sized pattern. Boys S-L and Mens S-XL.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
For the most part, yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It was a fine pattern.
Fabric Used:
Cotton Sateen stretch for the vest and 100% polyester for the lining fabric.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The person that I made this vest for has a very slim build. He falls in between a boy's large and a men's small. There was quite a bit to take in from a men's large. I removed the darts from the front and took it in from the sides and centre back seams.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
If my nephews want another version, yes. Otherwise I don't see myself sewing up another vest. I would recommend it to others, it is a fine pattern.

Great review and you produced a lovely waistcoat.I should have read this before I rushed off today and bought a different pattern. It's difficult to fit the skinny male but your adjustments gave you a very nice result.
