Pattern Description: Claire Shaeffer's Custom Couture Collection

Pattern Sizing: size 20 and 22 combined, I'm bordering pear shape

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?exactly.

Were the instructions easy to follow? instructions are extremely easy to follow and understand.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The fit. Also the pattern presents regular construction and couture construction, but since this was my first ever Vogue pattern I chose the regular construction. I did read the pattern several times before starting the project and I particularly liked the fly front zipper installation, it looks profession upon completion even for me!

Fabric Used: cotton suiting

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I had hip replacement surgery last year and now one leg is a half inch shorter than the other, so I had to make adjustments so the pants would drape the same on each leg.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I plan on making this pattern multiple times, and I have already cut my next pair from my adjusted pattern. It is a great dress slack pattern for work.

Conclusion: I highly recommend this pattern for dress pants and I'm encouraged to try my hand at the couture style now that I have seen how easy the regular construction is.
