Pattern Description: close-fitting pullover dresses with neckline and sleeve variations, narrow hem.
Pattern Sizing:(8-16) (18W-24W) I made size 10 view D (cowl neck) with the long sleeves from view B.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?yes. However, this pattern, like others I've recently used, instructs you to hem the sleeves before you attach them to the dress. I think this is a bad idea, so I did not hem the sleeves until they were attached to the dress.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I like that even though it's a basic dress, you can mix and match the necklines and the sleeves and the lengths.
Fabric Used:a black snowflake sweater knit from Joann Fabrics
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I added three inches to the sleeve length. I don't think they ran short, but my daughter has long arms.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?yes. I have made it twice already. It is fairly easy to sew up.
