Pattern Description: According to Burda Website: Plain, artless basic, fitted waist, allowing leeway for your own creative variants.
Pattern Sizing: 10 to 28
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes! I loved the shiny collar, so I made it!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Relatively easy.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? The simple construction makes it a great wardrobe builder since you can easily adapt the pattern. The rounded collar was super cute, but it would also look great with other types of collars. Very adaptable, not a lot ot pattern pieces, and easy to fit. Plus, if you use thicker fabric, like a medium weight crepe o wool, it is very forgiving for the figure (it hides the lumps and bumps!)
Fabric Used: I think it is a polyester crepe, but I am not sure. I never remember these things... Bad sewer, BAD!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I took the hem up an inch or so.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I will probably make a groovy 60's version with a colorful or monochromatic print and white shirt-style collars and cuffs.
Conclusion: Loved it!
