Pattern Description:
Multi size dress pattern for stretch knits only. I made view C

Pattern Sizing:
8 - 18

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy and all clearly illustrated. And I thought they were well put together. I wasn't sure where it was going when it came to attaching the bodice overlay but I did as I was told (just like I was taught to!) and it all came out exactly as it should. I loved how this dress went together.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I love everything about this pattern. It has mix and match variations, easy to sew, and went together quickly. The only thing I disliked is that the bodice has no proper facing (call me old fashioned!) it just had a straight strip of fabric turned inside and then top stitched. Works ok just facings are my preference.

Fabric Used:
I used a green and black polka dot cotton jersey. I have to admit I went for the quality here initially because it is just so soft, perfect weight for this dress and drapes beautifully. However I was instantly put off by it when hubby sees it and says it looks like pyjama fabric!! It kind of spoiled my making up of this dress as that's all i could think about thereafter, but I have to say, the end result is wonderful! Dress looks great not its all done (and no, it doesn't resemble a nightdress either!)

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I shortened the length a little as it was below the knee on me. Its now the same length as on the pattern photo.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I would definitely make this dress again (in fact my Mum wants one!) but I would make facings for the bodice.

Conclusion:
Great practical dress, easy to make.
