Pattern Description: Pullover tunic or dress has front extending into back collar, fitted, front pleated bodice, raised waist, tie ends, two-piece sleeves with barrel cuffs, and stitched hem.
Pattern Sizing: 8-24. I started with my usual Vogue Size of 14 (which corresponds to my upper bust measurement.)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Exactly.
Were the instructions easy to follow? There aren't really any difficult parts. Getting the front sleeve/back/collar facing seams to all meet up is a bit tricky.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I especially love the sleeves!
Fabric Used: A poly knit in a wine color. By sheer coincidence, MegWight made this dress in exactly the same fabric. We're in different cities, so hopefully we won't have any awkward moments showing up somewhere in the same dress!
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I did my standard erect back alteration, and a FBA by widening the bodice pleats. I also widened out a size at the waist and another at the hips.
I had to shorten the sleeves by 2" (bonus: this made the pattern layout easier.) I found that the sleeve cuffs were too loose and they slipped down off of my hands, so I redid the cuffs in the smallest size (8) and they are fine now.
I serged the back collar seam instead of slipstitching it.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I might make this in a shorter sleeved version for summer.
Conclusion: Love this one! Got lots of compliments on it, and a couple of people even wanted to know where I bought it.

Beautiful dress! I am in the process of making this dress as well, same color and all! I am attempting to make it in a woven fabric though, so we won't be exact twins :) Nice job!
