Pattern Description: Misses Dress, Tunic, Top, Pants and Bias Skirt. I made the dress view A with changes.
Side view on dress form
Pattern Sizing: 6-16. I made a 12 and it fits well, but that is one size smaller than what I measure on the pattern envelope.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, accept for the changes that I made.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, very easy and straightforward.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the fit and flare shape of this little dress. I am a big fan of princess seams.
The other views on this pattern are also cute and simple basics that are easy to make in a short amount of time.
Fabric Used: 100% linen from Mill End Store in Milwakee, OR.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made the dress strapless as I wanted a simple summer dress for hot, sunny days (I made this back in July 2012 and am reviewing it in March 2013!). I really liked pattern New Look 2334, but I couldn't find any copies of it, so I made this very similar pattern.
I added a wide elastic inside of the top band so that the dress will stay up.
I eliminated the ribbon trim as well.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes!
Conclusion: Great little dress in this pattern, along with other cute coordinates. Perfect fast and easy pattern to whip up for hot summer day dress.

Really sweet dress and it looks lovely on you. I'm glad you explained how you keep it up where it belongs with no straps! Great color too.
