|Pattern Description: Close-fitting, above knee, lined, halter dress has straps attached to back with purchased rings, side seam zipper and back slit.|
Pattern Sizing: (6-12) (14-20)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, it did.
Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions were "very easy" to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This pattern was in my stash for a while. I have no idea when, where or why I purchased it. I used it for this challenge, because I didn't have enough the fabric on hand to complete the LBD that I originally planned.
Fabric Used: Black ponte roma.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The top of the dress runs really large so I had to alter the darts to get a close-fit. The pattern also called for three decorative rings, which I was unable to find in the local fabric stores so I used two larger handbag rings from the craft section. I'm satisfied with the look, but I'll let you know what happens when I wash it.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? If I ever decide to make this dress again, I'll cut the top a size smaller.
Conclusion: This was a great pattern to use for a quick sewing project.
