Were the instructions easy to follow?
This pattern comes with no instructions, but it does have the guide lines for attaching the tutu net. Tutu.com sells a book with full detailed instructions for constructing a tutu.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I liked that the pattern had the guidelines for the net. This was very helpful.

Fabric Used:
A double layer of a nylon-Lycra with a foil print from stash.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
The panty was a bit big. I expected it to be 1" bigger, but it was more like 2 or 3". This is partly due to the fabric, and it made it tricky to fit the legs properly.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will make more tutus. Next time I will use a leotard pattern that I know fits DD as I am not skilled enough to alter the panty pattern to fit her properly at the moment. I'll merge the bodice pattern with the leotard pattern at the point where the plate is attached.
I highly recommend the book "Classical Tutus for Children" by Claudia R. Folts (which I couldn't review here in PR because it is self published and I couldn't find an ISBN)

Conclusion:
I'm pretty happy with this for my first attempt at a tutu. It's far from perfect, but I learnt so much making this one that I'm much more confident for the next one.
There's more information on my blog.

i am using their panty pattern right now and i probably could have gone down to an adult small/xsmall. you're right, i took it in 1 1/2 in on the front and back seams and could probably take in more. just glad i was not the only one with this problem.
