It's good you had that extra seam to work with for the shoulder area. It is actually surprising that the reviews all had the same fitting issues, so it is definitely something to watch on this pattern.

It's interesting that you had to deepen the scallop effect. I was at the Loes Hinse store this past weekend and checked all her jackets...not a hint of fusible in any of them! Of course she is only making them in fabrics that lend themselves to this treatment, but she had a fairly wide variety of different fabric types in her jacket collection.

I agree, Linda...I don't think the scallops drafted on the pattern are as deep/defined as they are pictured on the envelope. I have redrawn them on another tracing, but haven't made up the altered pattern yet. This is a great jacket, once tweaked to fit.
