Pattern Description: A simple a-line skirt with waistband, pockets, and center back zipper
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, with the exception of my own design changes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes - this is the second time I have made this skirt, and I don't even know if I looked at the directions this time It came together quite well
Fabric Used: A pink / taupe gabardine - it was slippery and frayed like crazy! Also a little too much sheen for my taste, but I loved the color.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I omitted the belt loops and tie, and added a faux button down placket on the front of the skirt (see my blog for instructions)
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is my second time making this skirt - I might even make this skirt again in a different fabric, with the belt loops. I think I might shorten the hem a bit as well. I would definitely recommend it to others, especially beginners
Conclusion: See finished pictures and more on my blog post here
