Pattern Description: Easy tank dress. Multisized. Made a sz 10 for DD.
Were the instructions easy to follow? What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Fabric Used: Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:This is a really simple dress - already with many reviews. I'm posting because of my fabric choice and some additions I made. I used a heavy cotton crochet lace with added mesh panels in the bra and skirt area. You can see in the last photolink that I used double stick heat tape to secure the panels to the lace before sewing, because pins don't work when there is nothing to pin to in the case of the lace here. YAY for that notion! I also used a bias binding finish out of a sheer piece of coordinating fabric from my stash for the neck and armholes. The scalloped hem was stabilized with a sheer knit fusible interfacing, and further secured with a small zigzag stitch. I'm hoping this combination will hold up to laundering.
I wish I could show it to you on a real person, but the model is away now. There is nothing to dislike about this pattern. I got it for $1., otherwise I would have just drawn it out myself. I may make an under dress (like a full slip) so this could be worn away from the beach.
