Pattern Description:
Unlined, loose-fitting, below waist, pullover top has cowl-neck. A, B: sleeveless. C, D: short sleeve. D: sleeve slits. E: long bell sleeves. B, E: side seam slits. B: self belt.

Pattern Sizing:
14-18, I cut a 16

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes

Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I don't like the amount of ease. I don't wear my clothes *tight* but I want them *fitted*. I want them with just enough ease that I can move comfortably, but I don't like my clothes loose.

I also didn't like that they had you sew together the top (strap?) of the front and back to their respective facings and then sew front to back. It's just far too thick. I ended up trimming the previously sewn portion.

I like the self facing and the cowl neck. I'm starting to love bias cut tops.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

I ended up taking in the side seams after trying it on the first time. I probably ended up with 1" seams that I trimmed back. It was WAY too boxy for me. Perhaps under-bust darts were needed? I should read some of the dozen+ library books I have on my table on fit

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

Eh. I don't know. I love the idea of it. Maybe as I gain more experience with fit. I could see type of blouse fitting in well with my love of jackets and cardigans.

Conclusion:

It's pretty...but I don't know if I'd wear it.
