Pattern Description: Amazing Fit shirt. Shoulder princess seams, back darts, choice of sleeves and collars. Pattern Sizing:6-22 with A-D cup sizes
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? I made a different sleeve. The rest looks like the photo.
Were the instructions easy to follow?the instructions are designed to help with fitting. There is a lot of basting to check for fit, then transferring marks to the pattern. The instructions for constructing the shirt seem good.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I love the collar on View C. I also like having 1 inch seams for fitting.
Fabric Used:I used a linen/cotton blend from my stash. It's easy to work with.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I always have to do a very large arm adjustment. Also I straightened the side seams and graded out from a 16 to a 22 on the side seam. I raised the back darts by an inch. This is for summer so I made a cuffed half sleeve.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is the second time I have made this. I will probably do it again, maybe the tie version next time.
Conclusion: Great blouse. Once you get the fit right on the body of the shirt, you can change it up and get a lot of different looks.
