Pattern Description:
Shirt or jacket has diagonal side seams angled to the front, soft stand-up collar, and set-in sleeves with vent openings. Asymmetric front and back deep hems with mitered corners. Front topstitching detail and five-button closure. Pattern Sizing: Misses XS - XXL
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? yes. SW patterns have excellent instructions on mitered corners. the instructions are always great
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? the seams, and that this can be worn as a top or a jacket
Fabric Used: I found this interesting cotton silk? at a recent quilt show. I liked the colors and the different patterns. To break up the stripes which I thought were a bit too sever, I silk screened in a gold jacquard paint some floral and Japanese designs.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: didn't make any changes. I've made this top before and really like the lines and seams.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? yes!
Conclusion: this pattern is great for this fabric.. both fun and different. More views
