Women's button through easy fit blouse, with bangle length sleeves, 2 piece collar and self tie. Blouse has bust darts for a flattering fit and a curved shirt tails hemline.
XXS-L. I made the Small although I might up it to a medium next time.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, very much so.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were great. The fabric I used was really inexpensive so this was basically a wearable muslin. I hadn't made a collar & collar stand before and the instructions were great. She also included little hints and tips along the way that were really great. The blouse came together really nicely!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Oooooh, I simply love this blouse. I think the pattern can be used in so many different way: from very formal to very laidback. You can change the fabric, sleeve length, the way the bow is tied. I think it would be lovely in a sleeveless version for the summer. I really like the 3/4 length sleeves which fit great and the cuffs were just the right size: not too small or large.
Woven polyester...I wish I know what type of fabric it was because I really didn't mind sewing with it.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made a small despite being only slightly larger than the small dimensions. It fits fine and I'll definitely continue to wear it but I might size up to the medium when I make it again. In particular I found that the shoulder length was a little short (maybe I have wide shoulder? but I never thought that was the case).
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes and yes.
Versatile, comfortable, and easy to sew!
